Our Food Photos

Unlike most food pictures you'll see, all the food you see in photos at Gretchen Cooks gets eaten shortly after the photo is taken. In fact, we occasionally play rock-paper-scissors for who gets the “pretty plate.” Are we too lazy to shine things up with a little varnish and a spritz of glycerin like the big sites? Well yes, we probably are, but our official reason is:

Photos at Gretchen Cooks show exactly what following the recipe should produce, so if you like what you see, you can make more just like it. No dry ice necessary.
